L'ANSE, MI-- Several schools in Baraga County will be closed for the next couple of days because of illness.
Twenty to 30 percent of L’Anse, Arvon Township, and Sacred Heart students were absent Monday due to “flu-like” symptoms, along with several staff. Monday night’s school board meeting in L’Anse was canceled and all varsity sporting events were postponed.
The schools will remain closed Tuesday and Wednesday, and will reopen on Thursday.
