WI residents can get free COVID-19 tests in Crivitz this week

MARINETTE, WI--   Marinette County Public Health is offering COVID-19 testing with the help of the Wisconsin National Guard this week.

Drive-through nasal swab testing will be held Tuesday through Thursday at the Marinette County Highway Shop in Crivitz from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Any Wisconsin resident with at least one of the following symptoms qualifies for testing: fever, cough, loss of taste and/or smell, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, sore throat, headache, fatigue, diarrhea, vomiting, nausea, chills, or muscle aches. Generally, results will be known within 48 hours of sample submission.

Those who are tested will be advised to return home and self-isolate until they receive their results and guidance from Public Health. Everyone will get their results by phone.

Contact tracing of positive cases will be used to stop the further spread of COVID-19.

The service is being offered free of charge.
