UP health department says be careful when going to WI restaurants, bars

IRON MOUNTAIN, MI--   Wisconsin bars and restaurants are now open with no restrictions and the Dickinson-Iron District Health Department is warning residents to be careful.

The Wisconsin Supreme Court has ruled Governor Tony Evers’ Stay at Home order is invalid. The Florence County Health Officer has outlined steps for businesses to follow to safeguard residents. Dickinson-Iron Health officials are advising people to be cautious eating or drinking at any establishment that doesn’t require social distancing or proper safeguards for customers and employees.

They say just because a business is open doesn’t mean proper precautions shouldn’t be taken.

The Health Department hopes people will be considerate and protect themselves and all communities’ members.
