Michigan COVID-19 cases seem to be slowing down

MARQUETTE, MI--   New cases of COVID-19 continue to be reported in Michigan on a daily basis, but seemingly in lower numbers.

The state said 504 cases of the coronavirus and 68 deaths were reported Wednesday. They bring the total number of cases seen in Michigan to 55,608 and

5,334 deaths. The Upper Peninsula reports a total of 111 cases and 15 deaths.

The state has created an online dashboard that illustrates COVID-19 risks and trends in Michigan. It provides case, death and test data analyzed to determine overall risk for various “Michigan Economic Recovery Committee—or “MERC”—regions.

The new dashboard is available at mistartmap.info.
