Mobile food pantries rolling into UP

MARQUETTE, MI--   Feeding America West Michigan is holding mobile food pantries in the U.P. over the next couple of weeks.

Residents can get fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy products and baked goods at no charge.

All mobile pantries are providing drive-through service at this time. Attendees should make sure there’s room in the back of their vehicle for volunteers to load food.

Mobile pantry stops include today (Thursday) at 9 a.m. at the Iron River Armory and 9:30 a.m. at the North Iron Church in Ishpeming; Friday at 5 p.m. at the Norway Community Food Pantry; Wednesday at 9 a.m. next to the Iron Mountain Days Inn; and Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Little Bear Arena in St. Ignace.

For more mobile pantry dates go to feedwm.org.
