Possible COVID exposure sites released

MARQUETTE, MI--   Two Upper Peninsula counties are reporting possible COVID-19 exposure sites.

The LMAS District Health Department says someone diagnosed with the coronavirus visited the Captain’s Quarters Wash and Dry Dock Coin Laundromat and Bentley’s B-M-L Café’ in St. Ignace. And the Dickinson-Iron District Health Department has identified the Firebrick Bar and Grill at Young’s Golf and Recreation in Iron River as a potential exposure site.

The dates and times are as follows:

Captain’s Quarters Wash & Dry Dock Coin Laundromat:

  • 8/12, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • 8/14, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • 8/15, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Bentley’s B-M-L Café:

  • 8/14, 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Firebrick Bar and Grill:

  • 8/14, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • 8/15, 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Health officials say Iron River residents may be at a higher risk for exposure if larger crowds were present and masking and social distancing guidelines weren’t followed.
