Marquette American Legion possible exposure site for coronavirus

MARQUETTE, MI--   The American Legion Post in Marquette has been identified as a possible COVID-19 public exposure site.

The Marquette County Health Department learned of the potential exposure through contact tracing.

Officials say anyone who visited the American Legion on Bluff Street this past Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. should monitor themselves for symptoms of COVID-19. Contact your medical provider if you become symptomatic.

The health department continues to recommend wearing a mask and social distancing. Officials say don’t share items like water bottles and cell phones.
