Rapid COVID-19 testing to be held at Kingsford High School

KINGSFORD, MI--   The Dickinson-Iron Intermediate School District is holding free rapid COVID-19 testing next week.

The event will be held Monday from noon to 6 p.m. in the parking lot of Kingsford High School. Officials say it’s highly encouraged that residents fill out a pre-registration form online for each person that wants to be tested. The website is here.

Signage at the high school will direct residents through the process. Tests will be given while participants remain in their vehicles. Once the rapid test is completed results will be given by phone or text within 15 to 20 minutes. Those who have a positive result can come back to the same testing site and get a comprehensive test, which takes 48 to 72 hours for results.
