Additional vaccination opportunities available in Marquette County

MARQUETTE, MI— The Marquette County Health Department has scheduled more clinics offering the Pfizer COVID-19 pediatric vaccine and the Moderna booster.

The pediatric vaccine is for ages 5 to 11 and the booster for adults 18 and older.

Both vaccines are available on Tuesday, November 16 and the Moderna vaccine will be given on Tuesday, December 7.

Appointments can be made online at www.mqthealth.org.

Children must be accompanied by an adult. If the adult is not the parent, officials will need to see written authorization from the parent.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
