Munising hospital to get new CT scanner

MUNISING, MI— The Munising Memorial Hospital Association is getting a portion of $1.2 million in federal healthcare funding.

U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow says the money comes from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Emergency Rural Health Care Grant program. The Association is getting $195,680 dollars to purchase a new CT scanner.

Stabenow says the investment will help Munising keep up with the needs of the community and increase access to quality healthcare.
