MARQUETTE, MI— UPHS-Marquette has hired a Vice President of Operations.
Alyson Sundberg started at Marquette General Hospital in 1985. She worked in the lab, medical records and Emergency Medical Services as a licensed paramedic and instructor with the School of EMT.
Sundberg worked as a civilian with the Air Force on hazardous waste restoration projects, then returned to UPHS and eventually became the market director of risk management for UP Health System Bell, Marquette, and Portage in 2021.
As VP of operations, Sundberg will oversee support services such as imaging and laboratory, plant operations, clinical engineering, EMS, and more.
