Town hall on prescription drug costs being held Monday night in Marquette

MARQUETTE, MI— State Representative Jenn Hill is hosting a public town hall in Marquette Monday evening regarding the high cost of prescription drugs.

She and a coalition of groups supporting the creation of a Prescription Drug Affordability Board in Michigan will talk about the idea. A PDAB is an independent body that would set upper payment limits on important medicines so Michigan residents can afford their medications.

The town hall takes place Monday at 6 p.m. at Peter White Public Library.

A livestream is also available.
