MARQUETTE, MI— The Second Annual Marquette Holistic Health Fair takes place at Northern Michigan University this weekend.
More than 70 vendors will offer services like massage therapy, energy work, handcrafted products, and the NMU Wildpups. Presentations will be held on topics like Estate Planning, Menopause, and Maternal Wellness.
Event coordinator Michelle Nichols says the term “holistic” refers all levels of our being: body, mind, and spirit. She says the fair is aimed at anyone who is interested in holistic health.
“It is not designed to take out Western medicine or deny that, but Western medicine and holistic health can work together to create that full-body, full-health experience for each individual.”
The Marquette Holistic Health Fair takes place Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Northern Center.
