Get rid of expired prescription drugs April 26

MARQUETTE, MI— National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is coming up again.

The event is an opportunity for residents to dispose of old, unused, and unwanted medication. It’s one of two annual events held in partnership with the Drug Enforcement Administration and other police agencies.

All collected pills will be destroyed, no questions asked. Liquids, inhalers, patches, and syringes will not be accepted.

Prescription Drug Take Back Day will be held Saturday, April-26^th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. To find a collection site near you, go to www.dea.gov.
