Boil water advisory lifted in Forsyth Township

FORSYTH TOWNSHIP, MI— The boil advisory for Gwinn and Princeton has been lifted.

An issue with the water system Tuesday night led to a drop in pressure and possible bacterial contamination.

Forsyth Township officials say water samples were taken, and results indicate no Coliform bacteria were present. They advise all residents to flush all cold water faucets in their home until the water runs cold or for five minutes. They should also discard any ice made in their refrigerators during the boil advisory.

For additional information, call the Forsyth Township office at 906-346-9217.
