Donate a deer to help Michigan families in need

MARQUETTE, MI— Deer hunters can help hungry families by donating a deer to Michigan Sportsmen Against Hunger this month.

It’s a nonprofit organization that connects donors, wild game processors and charities like food banks, pantries and shelters to feed those in need. The organization distributed almost 100,000 pounds of venison last year, providing more than 400,000 meals for families experiencing hunger.

This year, hunters who donate also have a chance to win prizes.
