Spring Grant Cycle underway for CFMC

MARQUETTE, MI— The Community Foundation of Marquette County’s spring grant cycle is now open.

Local nonprofits are invited to apply for funding through the Foundation and its affiliate and youth funds. The aim of the grants is to enrich the lives of residents by supporting creative approaches that address community needs and have the greatest impact.

Last year the Foundation awarded $100,000 to 52 organizations across the county during the competitive grant cycle.

Application guidelines are at www.cfofmc.org. The submission deadline is Friday, April 1st at noon.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
