Casady retiring from Women's Center in Marquette

Mining Journal

MARQUETTE, MI— The executive director of the Marquette Women’s Center is stepping down.

Beth Casady has been in the top spot for the past six years. In a press release, the Women’s Center said Casady worked to pay off nearly

$900,000 of the organization’s debt while creating a six-month emergency operating fund. During her term as executive director, the center opened satellite offices and grew its domestic violence and sexual assault supportive services programs.

The Women's Center Board of Directors has partnered with Kittleman & Associates and will soon launch an official search process to recruit Casady's successor. Officials anticipate an early 2023 transition phase.

For more information, please contact the Women's Center at 906-225-1346 or visit their website, www.wcmqt.com.
