Volunteers needed for Habitat ReStore revamp

Facebook

MARQUETTE, MI— Marquette County Habitat for Humanity is looking for volunteers for something a little different.

The Marquette ReStore needs a refresh and volunteers are needed to help remove and replace ceiling tiles, move merchandise, and clean.

Whether you have experience with home repairs or are just looking for a way to give back, Habitat will welcome volunteers of all skill levels.

The project takes place from Sunday, April 16 through Wednesday, April 19. Those interested can contact the volunteer coordinator at programs@mqthabitat.org.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
