Grants from 2 funds available in Menominee and Marinette counties

MENOMINEE, MI— The M&M Area Community Foundation will be accepting applications for its fall grant cycle September 1st through the 10th.

Two funds will be open during this cycle. The Women’s Giving Circle Restricted Endowment supports projects and programs directly impacting women and girls in Marinette and Menominee counties. The Homelessness Prevention Services Fund provides support for programs which implement innovative strategies to prevent homelessness.

Nonprofits in Marinette and Menominee Counties are encouraged to answer questions on a Letter of Intent detailing their outreach, established partnerships, leadership efforts and reasons for requesting support.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
