ESCANABA, MI— Meijer recently donated $20,000 to four Upper Peninsula nonprofit agencies.
The donations are part of the Meijer Team Gives program. Team members at each store collectively choose nonprofits that will receive all or a portion of $10,000.
The Escanaba Meijer team chose to give $5,000 to the Delta County Cancer Alliance and $5,000 to Pathways Ray of Sunshine. The Marquette team chose Community Action Alger/Marquette and Sail Disabilities Network for their donation.
Meijer donated over $10,000 to more than 1,700 local nonprofits through the retailer’s third annual Meijer Team Gives program.
