MARQUETTE COUNTY, MI— The Community Foundation of Marquette County has announced the distribution of grants through the Zacchaeus Fund.

The fund disperses money to Marquette County nonprofits that fight homelessness and assist people in recovery.

$50,000 went to Great Lakes Recovery Centers; the Women’s Center of Marquette received $40,000; the Janzen House was given $30,000; Room at the Inn got $30,000; and Superior Connections RCO received $30,000.

Officials say the grants will be put to good use for vulnerable individuals as temperatures dip below zero.
