Marinette food pantry moving to expanded site

MARINETTE, WI— The St. Vincent de Paul Society of Marinette is opening a new, bigger food pantry.

Operations are moving out of the thrift store and into the former Scoops restaurant site at 2000 Cleveland Avenue. Executive Director Ashley Berken says the move will significantly expand the Society’s ability to address food insecurity.

The pantry will offer longer service hours and a return to grocery-style shopping.

Berken says the demand for food assistance has reached unprecedented levels in recent years. Donation information is at www.svdpmarinette.com.
