PCF looking for donated--or donations to purchase--farm truck

ISHPEMING, MI— Partridge Creek Intergenerational Farm in Ishpeming will launch its first growing season this year and officials are hoping to get a truck to help out.

PCF aims to cultivate 90,000 pounds of produce in 2024. It will be distributed to the Ishpeming community and Ishpeming School District’s cafeterias.

Farm Manager Allison Stawara says the operation is looking for residents to donate—or help the farm purchase—a truck. The ideal vehicle would be well-maintained and smaller with the ability to haul tools and produce. Higher mileage is acceptable, as the truck will remain in the Ishpeming area.

PCF is also seeking financial donations to purchase and maintain a pickup.
