HOUGHTON, MI— An Upper Peninsula Accessibility Summit will take place in Houghton this week.
The event will bring together advocates, community leaders, and
innovators to address accessibility challenges in rural and recreational areas around the Keweenaw and beyond. It aims to create solutions to inaccessible recreational and community spaces.
The summit is sponsored by the Accessible Keweenaw Initiative and the Keweenaw Community Foundation. It takes place Thursday and Friday at the Rosza Center on Michigan Tech’s Campus.
