Coffee Crawl to benefit Marquette Women's Center

MARQUETTE, MI— The Northern Michigan University Public Relations Student Society of America chapter is hosting the 7th annual Marquette Coffee Crawl on Saturday, April 12. Held during Sexual Assault Awareness Month, all proceeds from the event will go to the Marquette Women's Center.

Public Radio 90's Nicole Walton spoke with Emma Schmidt, Vice President of Professional Development with PRSSA, about the event.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
