Applications now being accepted for KCF grants

HANCOCK, MI— The Keweenaw Community Foundation’s fall grant cycle is now open for applications.

More than $115,000 is available to support initiatives throughout the Copper Country, including $50,000 from the Community Impact Fund.

Established endowments support proposals for outdoor recreation, cross-country skiing, youth hockey, historical preservation, and projects that empower individuals with mental or developmental disabilities. Proposals will also be considered from any eligible organization that improves the quality of life for the people and places in the Keweenaw.

A Grants Open House will be held Monday, September 15 from 4 to 5 p.m. at the KCF office in Hancock.

More information is at www.keweenawgives.org/grants.
