Rural Rally to facilitate conversations about housing in Marquette County

MARQUETTE, MI— Marquette County Habitat for Humanity is holding a community conversation on housing Sunday.

The Jimmy and Rosalyn Carter Work Project Rural Rally will bring together residents, policymakers, and housing partners. They’ll discuss the unique challenges and opportunities surrounding housing in Marquette County and the U.P.

The event will feature remarks from state Representative Karl Bohnak, Marquette Mayor Jessica Hanley, and Antonio Adan, Executive Director of the Marquette County Land Bank Authority. That will be followed by a moderated conversation and Q&A session.

The event takes place Sunday at noon at the Women’s Federated Clubhouse in Marquette.
Residents are encouraged to share questions in advance by emailing www.info@mqthabitat.org.
