Help Marquette kids with their holiday wish lists with the United Way

MARQUETTE, MI— The United Way of Marquette County is hosting Giving Trees for low-income youth this holiday season.

There are six Giving Trees around Marquette: at the Marquette Township Office, Kate’s Place Salon, Provisions, Contrast Coffee, and The Crib. Each tree has gift tags containing parts of Christmas wish lists from kids at Lake Superior Village.

Those who wish to participate can take a tag from a tree, purchase the item or items on it, and return the gift and tag to the same location. Lake Superior Village will take care of wrapping the items.

Gifts need to be returned by December 15.
