MARQUETTE, MI— The U.P. Regional Child Care Coalition has launched a new website to make it easier to find information and resources in the Upper Peninsula.
Officials say upchildcare.org was designed for families, child care providers, early childhood professionals, businesses, and community partners. The website serves as a starting point for people looking for child care options, exploring careers in early childhood education, starting or expanding a child care business, or seeking ways to address employee child care needs.
It also provides information about the U-P Child Care Coalition and opportunities to become involved in expanding child care throughout the region.
The website was developed through a grant awarded by the Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential using Child Care Development Funds.
