From the Michigan State Police:
Effective at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, (1/19/25), M-28 between Kawbawgam Road in Marquette County to West Shore Road in Alger County will be closed. Snow and high winds are causing whiteout conditions.
Barriers will be placed. Please use an alternate route of M-94 between Marquette and Alger counties until the highway reopens.
