HOUGHTON, MI— Repair work on the Portage Lake Lift Bridge will require more early-morning closures this week and next.
The closures will take place between 12:15 and 5:15 a.m. and will last about 30 minutes each.
This week, they’re planned for Thursday and Friday. Next week, closures are slated for Tuesday through Friday mornings.
Vehicle, bicycle and pedestrian traffic will be delayed. Between closures, traffic will be allowed to clear.
