Traffic detection camera to be installed at Marquette intersection

MARQUETTE, MI— Normal traffic flow will be interrupted at the US-41/M-28 intersection with Washington Street in Marquette Wednesday while a signal is upgraded.

Michigan Department of Transportation crews will install new traffic detection cameras at the intersection. During the work, temporary stop signs will be in place on Washington, while traffic on the highway will be free flowing.

The signal is expected to resume normal operations once the work is completed.
