US-41 to be resurfaced in Chocolay Township

MARQUETTE, MI— Road work in Marquette County’s Chocolay Township is slated to start on Monday.

Three miles of US-41 from Big Creek Road to the M-28 intersection will be resurfaced. The project also includes intersection improvements, carpool parking lot resurfacing, guardrail replacement, signal upgrades, and pavement markings.

Drivers should expect intermittent single-lane closures using traffic regulators throughout the project.

Work is expected to be completed by September 2.
