IRON COUNTY, MI— Work to rebuild the last of four bridges in Iron and Ontonagon counties begins next week.
The Michigan Department of Transportation says construction starts Monday on the US-141 bridge over the Net River near Covington.
Work will include deck replacement, substructure repairs, and steel cleaning and coating. The estimated finish date is October 27.
Work on the M-64 bridge over the Floodwood River, the M-64 bridge over Halfway Creek, and the US-45 bridge over Roselawn Creek was completed last year.
