ISHPEMING, MI— The Michigan Department of Transportation is holding a public meeting to discuss the upcoming roundabout project in Ishpeming.
The roundabout will be constructed at the intersection of US-41/M-28 and Lakeshore Drive.
Residents, business owners, and community stakeholders are invited to the August 28th meeting. It will be held at 2 p.m. at the Ishpeming Senior Center.
Work is expected to begin with preliminary activity next month and be completed through four main phases in 2024. The project is expected to be completed in October 2024.
