ISHPEMING, MI— The traffic configuration at the Ishpeming roundabout on US-41 and Lakeshore Drive is changing, beginning Monday.
Traffic will be shifted to one lane in each direction on the south side of the highway, with no turns allowed at North or South Lakeshore Drive. Detours will remain in place. This stage is expected to last about three weeks.
Motorists should slow down and drive with caution in the work zone and expect delays during these traffic shifts.
The project began last fall and is expected to be completed in late October.
