DELTA AND SCHOOLCRAFT COUNTIES, MI— Road resurfacing projects are set to start next week in Delta and Schoolcraft counties.
Starting May 5, the Michigan Department of Transportation is redoing nearly two miles of M-35 from Lakeshore Drive to US-2 in the city of Escanaba. Some of the work will be done at night.
The project is expected to be finished by mid-July.
Also slated to begin next Monday is the resurfacing of more than nine miles of US-2 from west of M-183 to west of Carlson Road in Cooks and Garden townships.
That project is also expected to be completed in mid-July.
