Road work slated to start Monday in Menominee County

MENOMINEE COUNTY, MI— The Michigan Department of Transportation is planning to start a road project in Menominee County on Monday.

MDOT will resurface and pave the shoulders on M-35 from Jimtown Road north to J.W. Wells State Park and from Dunkas Road north to the Delta County line.

Drivers should expect single-lane closures with a traffic regulator.

The project is expected to be completed by mid-September.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
