Dickinson and Iron County road work on tap for Thursday

IRON AND DICKINSON COUNTIES, MI— Work on portions of M-69 and US-141 in Dickinson and Iron counties will start Thursday.

Michigan Department of Transportation crews will focus on M-69 from west of Lake Mary Road to west of Mansfield Cutoff Road and on US-141 from the state line to US-2.

Work includes 2.5 miles of asphalt milling, crack filling, resurfacing, surface sealing, centerline and shoulder rumble strips, shoulder gravel, and pavement markings. Drivers should expect single-lane closures with traffic regulators.

The project is expected to be completed in mid-September.
