MUNISING, MI— M-28 in Munising will be detoured Thursday as road work is performed.
The Michigan Department of Transportation is performing corrective warranty repairs on the highway from the roundabout to Elm Street in Munising.
Eastbound and westbound M-28 will be closed and detoured from Cedar Street to Elm Avenue. Eastbound traffic will be detoured via Elm Avenue and East Superior Street back to M-28. The detour will be reversed for westbound traffic. H-58 (East Munising Avenue) traffic will be detoured onto Mill Street.
Work should be completed by the end of the day.
