DICKINSON AND MENOMINEE COUNTIES— Road work on US-2 in Dickinson and Menominee counties is scheduled to begin on Monday.

The Michigan Department of Transportation will resurface about 10.5 miles of US-2 from west of the US-2/US-41 intersection in the village of Powers to west of the Dickinson/Menominee county line.

The project will cost about $3.4 million.

Drivers should expect single-lane closures with traffic regulators. Work on the highway is expected to wrap up at the end of August.
