ISHPEMING, MI— Officials with the City of Ishpeming say the 2026 construction season is starting.
Similar to last year, two different contractors will be working on three different water and sewer infrastructure projects. They’ll take place through various areas of the city and will leave behind new roadways.
Work begins this week with Salisbury and Vine streets.
The photo indicates where residents will not be allowed to park during construction.
