Work on M-123 in Luce County to begin next week

NEWBERRY, MI— Road work in Newberry is slated to start on Monday, July 6.

The Michigan Department of Transportation is investing about $1.3 million to resurface M-123. The project will include cold milling, resurfacing, guardrail improvements, and pavement markings.

Drivers should expect single-lane closures with traffic regulators. An 11-foot width restriction will be in place during the project.

Work is expected to be finished by September 25.
