Menominee traffic signal work slated to start October 5

MENOMINEE, MI— Contractors for the Michigan Department of Transportation will be performing signal work in Menominee starting Monday.

Crews will do maintenance repairs on the traffic signal on US-41/10th Street at the 10th Avenue intersection beginning October 5. The signal will be placed in flash mode periodically during the work.

Repairs are expected to be completed by Wednesday, October 7.

MDOT urges drivers to use caution when approaching the intersection.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
