HOUGHTON/HANCOCK, MI— The Michigan Department of Transportation will be performing repairs on the Portage Lake Lift Bridge from Monday, October 19, through Wednesday, October 21.
That will require single-lane closures on the bridge. Crews will be repairing non-structural damage caused by high-load hits.
Drivers should expect single-lane closures of northbound M-26/US-41 each day until approximately 3 p.m.
