Teens to learn defensive driving at MSP school in June

ESCANABA, MI— The Michigan State Police is offering a Teen Defensive Driving Program in Escanaba this summer.

The course is open to teens ages 16 to 19 with a GDL level 2. Specially trained troopers will instruct young drivers in several areas of defensive and emergency driving.

The course—which takes place at Midwest Truck Driving School the week of June 27—is five hours long with four hours of hands-on instruction.

Class sizes are limited and early registration is highly recommended.
