BRIMLEY AND GLADSTONE, MI— The Michigan State Police is offering its Teen Defensive Driving program at two locations in the Upper Peninsula next month.
The free sessions will be held Saturday, August 15 at the Brimley Development Center and Sunday, August 16 at Gladstone Area High School. Classes are offered from 8 a.m. to noon or 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., and are open to students who have completed at least Segment 1 of driver’s education.
Students will receive behind-the-wheel instruction in actual MSP patrol vehicles while learning defensive driving and crash-avoidance techniques from experienced troopers.
