MARQUETTE, MI— Marquette Police are reminding residents and visitors about the winter parking ban.
It began November 1 and will be in effect until April 1. No one is allowed to park on any city street between the hours of 1 and 6 a.m.
Those who violate the ban face a $75 fine. Their vehicle could also be towed if it’s impeding snow removal efforts by plow crews.
Officers say vehicle owners should be making off-street parking arrangements for their vehicle for the winter season as soon as possible.
