UPDATE: Runaway from Chocolay Township may be headed for Wisconsin

CHOCOLAY TOWNSHIP, MI— Chocolay Township Police are asking the public to be on the lookout for a runaway girl.

Dalia Taylor, 14, was last seen around 11 p.m. Tuesday at her grandmother’s township home. She is a 5’5”, 120-pound white female with long, dark hair and blue eyes.

Officials believe she is driving a 2017 black Jaguar SUV with a cargo rack on the roof and a bike rack in the rear. Taylor may be heading to Wisconsin.

Anyone with information regarding Taylor’s whereabouts is asked to call Chocolay Township Police at 906-249-4040, or Central Dispatch at 906-475-9912.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
